Kiva, 23, came to Kuala Lumpur to spend Christmas with his mother.

She was already training at Peak Human Performance, while Kiva usually sat in the lounge, scrolling through his phone as he waited for her to finish.

One day, I asked him a simple question.

"Do you think you can squat more than your mum?"

He looked at me, surprised.

"Of course."

So I invited him onto our Pendulum Squat.

The result?

He couldn't.

Despite being 23 years old, he was significantly weaker than his 57-year-old mother.

Kiva immediately decided to start training—not only alongside his mum but also on his own. He knew he only had a few sessions before returning to London, so his goal wasn't simply to transform his body.
